Refund policy

30-Day Return Window

We accept returns on eligible items within 30 days of the confirmed delivery date. Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in the same condition in which they were received.

Eligible Items

We accept returns on:

  • Unopened boxes of flooring in original factory packaging
  • Unused samples and swatches
  • Unopened accessories (underlayment, trims, adhesives) in original condition
  • Items with a manufacturing defect (see Defective Items below)

Non-Eligible Items

We do not accept returns on:

  • Opened or partially used boxes of flooring
  • Installed or cut flooring
  • Custom-cut or special-order items
  • Items returned without original packaging
  • Items showing signs of water damage, staining, or mishandling
  • Clearance or final-sale items

How to Start a Return

  1. Contact us at info@madefloors.com with your order number and reason for return.
  2. Our team will review your request and issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number within 2 business days.
  3. Pack the items securely in their original packaging and write the RMA number clearly on the outside of the box.
  4. Ship the return to the address provided in your RMA confirmation email.

Returns sent without an RMA number will not be accepted and may be returned to sender.

Return Shipping

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to a manufacturing defect or an error on our part. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we cannot be held responsible for lost return shipments.

Flooring is heavy — for large orders, please contact us and we will help arrange freight pickup when possible.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email. If approved, your refund will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Please note:

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • A restocking fee of up to 15% may apply for large or freight-shipped orders.
  • Partial refunds may be issued for items not returned in their original condition.

Defective or Damaged Items

If you receive a defective product or an item damaged in transit, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. Include photos of the damage and your order number. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.

Exchanges

We do not process direct exchanges. If you'd like a different product, please return the original item (if eligible) and place a new order at madefloors.com.
